I was asked to re-design the logo for wedding photographers, Sarah and Jon Rudd. They have a long established clientele who come to them for their signature whimsical, dreamy and nature-inspired style. Because of this, they decided to re-brand and change their name to something that reflects their style and ethos.
They wanted to focus their logo on nature, with a theatrical and romantic aesthetic. They also wanted to incorporate the moon but very subtly, so my interpretation of that was to base the illustration around the shape of a crescent moon.
This logo was hand-drawn and hand-painted in watercolours.
